BRITNEY SPEARS plans to steer her two sons away from a career in showbiz - because she wants them to have the "normal childhood" she lost out on.
The singer was thrust into the public eye at the age of 10, when she appeared on talent show Star Search and then landed a function in the Mickey Mouse Club. Her early startle in fame has been blamed for her late troubles, including the meltdown that deep in thought her custody of Sean Preston, 2, and one-year-old Jayden James.
And Spears is driven the geminate won't be pushed into showbiz.
She tells OK! magazine, "If they want to do it, and they are gifted enough, I would support them. But they'd feature to express an interest on their own.
"I'd rather they didn't (pursue it) but I'd love them unconditionally if they cherished to. I'd just as soon they have a more normal childhood."
Meanwhile Spears - wHO released her debut album ...Baby One More Time at only 18 - is still hard at work on her side by side comeback record, calling it her "best work of all time".
The disc volition be Spears' sixth studio album - the follow up to last year's (07) Blackout - and will see contributions from producers including Jonathan 'J.R.' Rotem and Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins.
